On 10th of January, National Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in Great Hall of the People, Beijing. The results of Year 2013 National Science and Technology Awards were announced in the conference.

“The construction technology of three-cable-plane three-main-truss rail-cum-road cable-stayed Bridge” developed by 7 Companies, including MBEC, China Railway Major Bridge Reconnaissance & Design Institute Co., Ltd, has been awarded National Science and Technology Progress first prize. This project is not only the only one among bridge engineering project that was awarded the National Science and Technology Progress first prize in recent three years, but also the only one that was awarded National Science and Technology Progress first prize by Hubei Province.
