On December 31st, 2012, Huaihe River Bridge over Daqing Road in Bengbu was completed and opened to traffic.

The bridge was commenced in December 2009 with a total length of 2.38km. The main bridge has dual-way six lanes plus non-motor vehicle lanes and pedestrian lanes. The design speed is 60km/h. MBEC undertook the construction of Contract Section No. 2 of the bridge, including the approach bridge for the south main line whose total length is 1,058m, the four-layer interchange with a total length of 2, 716m and a 796m pedestrian & non-motor vehicle ramp bridge.
