Hubei Province Science & Technology Reward Ceremony 2011 was warmly opened in Donghu Hotel, Wuhan on the day of 14 June 2012. The special prize for Achievements in Science & Technology 2011 was awarded to MBEC for construction of Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge which had been vacant for several years.

Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge is a three-cable-panel three-main-truss rail-cum-road cable-stayed bridge. The construction technique of three-cable-panel three-main-truss rail-cum-road cable-stayed bridge with large span length is independently developed by MBEC for construction of Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge. This bridge is the first large-size rail-cum-road bridge over Yangtze River of the passenger traffic railway line in China which is also the first rail-cum-road bridge carrying four railway lines in the world.
