On April 13th, 2012, the last span continuous girder of the north approach bridge for Huanggang Yangtze River Bridge was successfully completed which marks the main structure of approach bridge in north banks of Huanggang Yangtze River Bridge is completed successfully.

The north approach bridge of Huanggang Yangtze River railway Bridge has totally 43 spans. The 40 spans 32m simple supported box girders will be launched by launching gantry whilst 3 spans crossing Yangtze River Banks with span arrangement of (41+56+41m) will be launched by cast-in-situ falsework.
